Root Companion walks your table through advanced setup for Root, one step at a time. It handles setting seating and first player, randomizing the map and suits, setting up landmarks and hirelings, and helps run faction draft.

How it works
- Players & content: Set the players and which Root content your table owns.
- Seats: Randomize seating and first player.
- Map: Pick a map or get a random one. Then the app sets up clearings and suits for you by randomizing them on an interactive map.
- Deck: Choose which deck you’ll play with.
- Landmarks and hirelings: Optionally sets up landmarks and hirelings by drawing them at random from your pool and guiding you through the process.
- Cards: Reminder to deal each player five cards before faction draft.
- Factions: Randomly deals faction cards based on the table pool, then guides the table through draft.
- Begin: Enjoy your game of Root!
Root Companion requires no account, uses no tracking cookies, and will never show you ads.
